1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how people use OMW. We also use similar tech (local storage, pixels, SDKs) where appropriate
2) Who sets them?
• First party cookies – set by OMW.
• Third party cookies – set by our providers (e.g., analytics, payment, fraud prevention).
3) What we use them for
• Strictly Necessary – security, session, load balancing, consent logging.
• Performance / Analytics – to understand feature usage and improve speed/stability.
• Functional – remember language, theme, saved forms.
• Security / Fraud – detect abuse and protect accounts.
• Advertising (optional) only if/when we run ads; off by default for EU/EEA until consent.
4) What data cookies collect
Short identifiers, device/browser info, approximate location (from IP), and usage events (e.g., pages viewed, buttons clicked). We don’t use cookies to store sensitive data.
5) How long we keep them
• Session cookies: removed when you close the browser.
• Persistent cookies: kept for a defined period (typically 1–24 months) or until you clear them. We align third party durations to their published policies.
6) Managing your choices
You can:
• Use our Cookie Settings to enable/disable categories (except Strictly Necessary).
• Adjust your browser settings to block/clear cookies.
• Opt out of analytics/ads via the provider’s opt out pages (linked in settings when enabled).
7) Third party cookies we may use
• Analytics: Google Analytics / PostHog / Plausible
• Payments/Fraud: Stripe • Crash/Perf: Sentry
• A/B/Feature flags: LaunchDarkly / GrowthBook When active, we provide links to each provider’s policy in the Cookie Settings panel.
8) Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our service currently doesn’t respond to DNT signals, but we’ll update this policy if that changes.
9) Changes to this policy
We’ll post any updates here and refresh the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be announced in app.
